How To Make Back-up (rip) and Burn Sega Saturn Games tutorial
With the ever increasing cost of Sega Saturn games making backups to preserve your investment is a must. In this Rocker How To ( tutorial ) video we examine how to make back-up images (rip) of our Sega Saturn games to our computer hard drive and then burn them to CD. By making copies of our games we can preserve our original disc while still being able to play a back up of our game and enjoy it. Note that this process will also work for any game downloaded from online sources, but please proceed at your own risk.
Further, a modded (chipped) Sega Saturn is required to play back up games. While this method will work with soft mods such as pseudo Saturn, I don't recommend soft mods due to compatibility issues. I would recommend using a phantom universal mod chip.
To accomplish both the ripping and the burning of games will be using IMGBURN.
IMGBURN can be downloaded here:

These are discs I recommend they are manufactured by CMC Magnetics and are disc number: 97m26s66f
I would also recommend JVC/Tayio Yurden, but these are harder to come by and even if you burn a few coasters with the CMC manufactured discs they are really inexpensive at ~$15 per 50 disc.
