GW2 Dungeons are still one of the good GW2 Gold Making Methods 2020. You may not make 100s of gold per day from them, but you will still make a very decent amount.
This is also a good GW2 Beginner Gold Guide since GW2 Dungeons are on the things you can do as you are starting the game. This is also why they are good for GW2 Low Level Farming.

Dungeon Rewards

All Story Modes Give 26 Silvers as a Standard Chest. You don't get any tokens or any bonus chests from Story Modes.
The numbers below are for Explorable mode only. And they are the total of Standard + Bonus Chest ( Only once per day for each path )
Ascalonian Catacombs --- Total Profit = 76 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Caudecus's Manor --- Total Profit = 61 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Twilight Arbor --- Total Profit = 61 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Sorrow's Embrace --- Total Profit = 61 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Citadel of Flame --- Total Profit = 61 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Honor of the Waves --- Total Profit = 61 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Crucible of Eternity --- Total Profit = 61 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Arah Path 1 --- Total Profit = 1 gold 26 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Arah Path 2 --- Total Profit = 1 gold 31 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Arah Path 3 --- Total Profit = 1 gold 81 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Arah Path 4 --- Total Profit = 1 gold 26 Silvers + 100 Tokens
Arah is the most profitable but it's also the hardest of them all. I would highly recommend that you stay away from it if you're new to Dungeons or the game.

Dungeon To Salvage Rares

Those are the only Dungeons you can buy rare armor from, then salvage to get Ectoplasms. All the other Dungeons will not give Ectoplasms if you salvage the Rare Armor From them.
ALWAYS BUY THE ITEMS THAT COST THE LEAST TOKENS.

Insignias & Inscriptions From Exotic

Keep in mind that you will also most likely get Ectoplasms from salvaging Exotics. And in most cases, you'll get more ectos from Exotic than from Rares.
You can buy Exotics from Any Dungeons, there is no level limit. But the salvage result of the inscription or insignia depends on the dungeon armor stat.
You get Inscriptions from Salvaging Weapons, and Insignias from salvaging Armor.
