How to Make Great Gaming Tutorials on Youtube
624If you want to grow a Youtube gaming channel, creating tutorials is one of the best ways to get found as a small Youtuber.
This video will go over the top ways to make better gaming tutorials so that you can get more views and keep people coming back for more.
*1. Be Quick and to the point*
Assume that the viewer saw the thumbnail and read the title. That is the reason they are watching the video to begin with. It is a good idea to explain what you are going to go over but it should not take 2 min before actually jumping into the content.
*2. Tell the viewer what they need at the start*
Do not assume the viewer knows much about the game. They may be missing some items. Be sure to let them know what they need and point them in the right direction.
*3. Assume the viewer is playing now*
The reason you want to be quick and to the point is that the viewer is likely playing the game NOW. they don't care about you or why you didn't upload last week. They likely have no idea who you are. SERVE THEM and get them the info as quickly as possible.
*4. Add some You*
The viewer does not know you if they found you from search. They have never seen you before and only want the info. If you want to keep the viewer coming back you need to give great info and also keep it fun. You can still have fun and crack jokes at the down times.
*5. Show the map*
Depending on the game you are playing, you should zoom out and give the viewer a sense of where you are. It is easy to get lost if you are going too fast. You are here to serve the viewer.
*6. Add all steps into the description*
This is pretty meta as I am writing the description about writing descriptions in the description of a video on how to make tutorials. IT IS IMPORTANT. This step will help you get found on both Youtube and Google. It can also help some viewers decide if they want to watch the whole video.
