In this video, I look at my process for creating magic items that my players actually want to keep! It all starts by identifying the item's niche in the game, designing interesting abilities, and making sure that they are balanced against existing benchmark items. Although I usually work in Pathfinder, these tips and tricks can work for any fantasy RPG!
