COD Vanguard is without doubt an amazing game, but at times it feels more Battlefield than Call Of Duty, with way too many enemies (and friendlies) throwing grenades, calling in Scorestreaks and generally getting in the way of your tactical gameplay!
The answer is to edit or change the Combat Pacing in the Quick-Play filter. Tactical will give you a more authentic, slower-paced, 6v6, gameplay, perfect for Domination, while Assault & Blitz introducing way more players for a frantic experience that is probably great for levelling up weapons, but removes some of your tactical choices.
