How to Make your Fireteam Closed & Stop people joining in DESTINY 2 (Easy Tutorial)
In Destiny 2, you can adjust your fireteam privacy settings to control who can join your game. Here’s how:
Change Fireteam Privacy Settings:
Go back to orbit (the main menu).
Access the social menu by pressing the appropriate button (e.g., Tab on PC, touchpad on PlayStation, or Select on Xbox).
Navigate to the “Roster” or “Invite Friends” section.
Look for the “Fireteam Privacy” option.
Choose one of the following settings:
Closed: No one can join your fireteam without your permission.
Invite Only: Only players you invite can join.
Clan and Friends Only: Limited to clan members and friends.
Public: Anyone can join.
Leaving a Fireteam:
If you’re already in a fireteam and want to leave, follow these steps:
On a planet: Hover over your name or icon in the Fireteam list, then select “Leave Fireteam.”
Confirm your departure if prompted. You’ll return to orbit alone.
