1This battery app helps me keep track of charging and when to unplug the phone to prevent over charging. I think to do anything cooler, like for example, making it stop charging automatically, requires root and a different app..
By the way, charging any lithium battery, phone or not, using these guidelines will make the battery last much, much longer overall.
