Alternatively you can follow these step by step instructions:
Guys if you're having trouble getting this to work here are the steps one by one:
1.Make sure that your version of subnautica is up to date (living large update) and that any qmod file is removed
2.Download the latest version of bepinex here: https://www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/1108
and transfer that to your subnautica main directory
3.Open Subnautica and close it when you get to the main menu (this generates the necessary plugins folder)
4.Download configuration manager, bepinex tweaks, and SML helper + whatever mods your interested in and place them all into the plugins folder located in the bepinex folder. And that's it! Press f5 in game to make sure Config manager is working. Hope this helps
