We made 3D templates you can use in Onshape to make your own custom dust collection hose adapters! See how to modify the templates, create your own adapter from scratch, and get it printed.

More thoughts on the project; we think that being able to do some basic 3D modeling is a versatile skill you can put toward multiple types of projects. This is a great basic project to start with. Plus it's a functional 3D print, which we always prefer. Hose adapters never seem to be perfectly sized, so being able to print the connectors are really nice. We have a whole collection of 3D printed hose adapters now! We use them for our shop vac / dust collection, hooked up to our miter saw, table saw, etc.

We used OnShape for this, but lately we've actually been liking Fusion 360 even better. That's a video for another time, but we'd love to do a basic 3D modeling tutorial using Fusion 360 in the future.
