More thoughts on these DIY concrete letters. Wow, these little letters really are easy! We actually ended up making lots of them and sell them at pop up shops and on our etsy. Having the baking molds you can just buy for the letters is what makes this project really accessible for beginners / DIYers. Also, the concrete is really fun to work with! It's a cheap concrete so it's ok to experiment a little without pressure, but we've found it's easy to use. We also love that you could finish these concrete letters so many different ways! We used gold spray paint, but if you don't like the spray painted look you could do a paint dipped look, paint just the sides , or just leave them as is.

NOTE: Make sure you have your PPE (personal protective equipment on) before you start handling the concrete mix. Portland cement is very basic (opposite of acidic), and has crystalline silica dust (which is really bad for your lungs). If you get cement on your hands and leave it there it can cause minor chemical burns and draws out moisture from your skin. If you do get cement on your hands, no worries. Wash with water, then pour common white vinegar over the area to neutralize any alkalinity, then wash with water again.
