Here are the steps to move apps from the taskbar to the desktop:

Right-click on the app you want to move from the taskbar.
Hover your mouse over "More options."
Click on "Open file location."
File Explorer will open and highlight the shortcut for the app. Right-click on the shortcut and select "Cut."
Right-click on your desktop and select "Paste."
The shortcut for the app will now appear on your desktop.
If you want to remove the app from the taskbar, right-click on the app and select "Unpin from taskbar."
