With crypto markets experiencing volatility over the past few months, many commentators have acknowledged that as the cost of living crisis has begun to bite, we have entered bearish times. Despite the fear, uncertainty, and doubt, the reality is that crypto, DeFi and blockchain finance are here to stay… As Winston Churchill famously commented:

What we are seeing in the market right now is a reflection of the bigger picture, with inflation creeping up, global markets feeling the heat and the nascent crypto industry being impacted by wider macroeconomic trends. The key question is: have you got the “stomach” to invest and the right mindset to filter out the unnecessary noise.
Many people have asked me recently “Has the crypto market hit bottom, or will it go lower“, and while it’s impossible to predict the absolute bottom of any market, there are some important factors to consider. And for that reason, I’m incredibly excited to be able to welcome today’s guest onto the show.
Rob Wolff, is a broadcaster, entrepreneur, and investor who has become one of the most sought-after and respected voices in the maelstrom of cryptocurrency influencers and has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the nuances of the crypto market.
Rob is the founder and host of the Digital Asset News Channel and the educational platform, D.A.N Teaches Crypto. He’s been in the game a few years now, maintaining a mass-appeal to his content thanks to his no-nonsense approach to investing and his calm demeanour that has helped many crypto investors new and old navigate the often choppy waters.
He has built up a huge following on YouTube thanks to his daily bite-sized updates that break down the complexities of the crypto industry in a way that is easy for the average man or woman on the street to understand, explaining the key information while resisting the wild predictions.
Alongside this, Rob interviews industry leaders while also answering viewers’ questions directly, offering practical advice and opinions based on the sound investing principles that have helped people become wealthy for centuries.
Rob’s previous life was in quite stark contrast to his current surroundings, where he began his professional career working as a military nurse in the US Army and after that continued the theme by setting up an educational platform for young nurses beginning their own adventures. He then moved into home health management and latterly investing, most notably in real estate.
Rob’s first encounter with crypto or more specifically Bitcoin came way back in 2012 when his young son presented him with a hard drive containing 500 Bitcoin, available at a cost of just $500! But, like so many of us in those early days, couldn’t quite see the opportunity…
However in 2017, as Bitcoin continued its steady rise, Rob decided to take another look and jumped down the rabbit hole. What he found was a truly unique asset class and something he knew would change the world around us and how we live our lives.
Rob believes that right now, in this bear market, is the time to put the work in and adopt a long-term outlook, because there are opportunities for those with the right mindset and knowledge.
