Noticed that the colors are different? I have patched Red and Blue ROMs with a Gen 2 color patch, making the original games look way better. It also adds an EXP bar to the battle screen so you don't have to check each pokemon's stats in the menu to check how much EXP it needs to the next level.
I'm using My Oldboy! emulator on android to play Red/Blue, also allows me to trade between the games and play at x2 speed or greater for boring parts.
I made a mistake when talking about obtaining HM02 Fly. I said that you had to battle Snorlax before obtaining it, but the bush you need to cut to reach HM02 is before Snorlax, not after.
