Nornir Chests are special chests that require you to do something with runes in the nearby area, like destroying them. Your reward for solving these little puzzles are either Idunn Apples (increases health) or Horns of Blood Mead (increases rage). The second Nornir Chest in The Sinkholes requires you to use the Draupnir Spear.

You will have to toss a spear at each of the three runes, then detonate them once you've hit all three.
