Why hello you lovely little peppercorns, my name's Noa Lee and have you ever wondered how to play Famicom games on NES? Well, there are a few ways to go about it, but by far the easiest way is to get a Honey Bee adapter or any other 60 to 72 pin adapter. By using a Famicom to NES converter like this you'll be able to play Japanese import games on an American NES or European PAL system. In this video I'll be going over a little bit of history surrounding the Honey Bee Famicom to NES adapter, how the device works, who created it, and show you how to play Famicom games on NES.
The Honey Bee adapter is the most well known adapter for playing Famicom games outside of Japan and comes in two different colors: grey and gold; though both function identically to one another. One common misconception with the Honey Bee adapter is that it was made by Hudson Soft do to the device having a nearly identical image of a bee on cartridge, but in fact the Honey Bee adapter was developed by a company called Honey Bee IND.
