I Bought A Sealed Super Mario Bros. NES Cart For $2.00
As far as sealed Super Mario Bros. copies go, this one was a bargain.

Why hello you lovely little peppercorns, my name's Noa Lee and you read that right, I once paid only two dollars for a sealed Super Mario Bros. copy at a rummage sale. This was about twelve years ago when retro gaming was really starting to take off and similar condition copies of Super Mario Bros. were selling between $500 and $800, yet I was lucky enough to find this one for $2. And with recent news of sealed Super Mario Bros. copies selling for tens of thousands of dollars you might think that I lucked out on a fortune!
Unfortunately, this sealed Super Mario Bros. is part of the third production run for this classic game with no sticker, hang tab, or original Nintendo Seal of Quality logo being present. However, it is still in the original cellophane wrapper and even though it's only worth around $300 at the time of writing, with a few small holes and some light water damage for extra flavor, it's still at the heart of my collection and is something I never plan on opening or selling.
