Why hello you lovely little peppercorns, my name's Noa Lee and the Unity Engine has a bit of an image problem, doesn't it? It seems like every day someone lambasts the Unity Engine and Unity as a company for the amount of asset flips and bad games created with it, while rarely pointing out the vast amount of great games developed on the platform. I'm not going to claim that the Unity Engine is the best engine around, but I do think it's a valuable tool that has helped foster a revolution in the world of game development.
From its ease of use to its cheap/free price point the Unity Engine gives access to a wide assortment of tools for creating games that both professionals and novices alike can make use of, and with the sheer number of Unity Engine Tutorials on the internet, anyone with just a little bit of an imagination and hard work can learn to make games in a relatively short period of time. However, like any other tool there are both positives and negatives to the Unity Engine that need to be addressed and over the course of this video I hope to do just that.
