It's a shame part 1 Songque will never see the light of day because her animation cancels are very fun to use, allowing her to be speedier so that she can do 4 combo attack rotations. To do a 4 combo rotation you must have Songque's lantern pre-filled from a previous rotation. Any amount of pre-fill is OK, and any left over after Songque's 4th combo can be carried forward to the next rotation.
For example, Songque can do:
1 combo, 6 odd thought refill, 3 combo: no carry over (means you need to pre-fill lantern again if needed)
2 combo, 6 odd thought refill, 2 combo: carry over 1 combo for next rot
3 combo, 6 odd thought refill, 1 combo: carry over 2 combo for next rot
Songque will also need to cancel her very laggy basic 3 in order to fit 4 combos within buff windows. The attack can be canceled using one of three methods:
- ult
- evade/jump weapon to cancel into weapon attack
- hold A to cancel into combo attack
The combo attack at 1:57 hitting within Prometheus buff during a Seele refresh rot (her combo slash eats up a lot of time) will only work when doing 6 odd thought ult cancel weapon active. Because the weapon active will fully fill the combo meter, all of Songque's combo meter should be used during the 3 odd thought cancel. Other sequences might feel like the same speed, but it'll actually be a little too slow.
