[How To] Play System Shock 2 Co-Op LAN Online Tutorial (Tunngle Optional)
60System Shock 1 (and 2) is the inspiration for Bioshock series. It has perfect elements of FPS, Horror, and RPG wrapped into one game. The best part? It has Co-Op!!!!!
Quick and Dirty Text Tutorial:
1) Install and update game.
2) Go to Tunngle for System Shock 2 room (or you can use whatever method you want).
3) Disable Internet adapter.
4) Start game. Host. If you are client, just sit in the join lobby.
5) Enable Internet adapter. Wait about 1 minute.
6) Join or host your game and have fun!

Answer: Follow the guide here, get the SS2Tool to update your game. Yes, this game works with Windows 7 64-bit. The video above I'm using that OS.
