How to Purchase a Game for a Friend on Xbox Series X (Store Tutorial)
8To gift a digital game to a friend on your Xbox Series X, follow these steps:
On Your Console:
Go to the Microsoft Store.
Find the game you want to gift.
Locate the gift wrap icon next to the game title.
Click on it to open the “Buy as gift” options.
Choose someone from your friends list or type in their email address.
Personalize your message (characters are limited).
Select your payment option and buy as a gift.
Your friend will receive a message on their Xbox console and email.
They can click on “Redeem code” to start playing!
On the Web:
Visit the Microsoft Store Online.
Find the game you want to gift.
Click on “Buy as a Gift” (below the buy button).
Log in to your Microsoft Account.
Enter the recipient’s email address.
Complete the payment process.
