Unlike platforms like Facebook, where you can directly upload images in the comment section, TikTok currently doesn’t offer a built-in feature that allows users to post photos directly as comments. However, there are a few workarounds you can use to achieve a similar effect.
First, open the TikTok app and make sure you’re logged into your account. Find the video where you’d like to leave a comment and tap on the comment icon to open the comment section. You’ll notice that the options available are limited to text-based comments, emojis, and tagging other users. There’s no direct option to upload an image from your gallery.
While TikTok doesn’t support direct photo uploads in comments, one way to share a picture is by uploading the image to an external platform like Google Drive or any cloud-based service. To do this, upload the desired photo to your Google Drive. Once uploaded, tap the three dots next to the file, select the share option, and copy the link to the image. Make sure the sharing settings are set to "Anyone with the link can view" so others can access it without permission issues.
After copying the link, return to TikTok, go to the comment section of the video, and paste the link into your comment. This way, while the image itself won’t appear directly in the comment, anyone who clicks the link will be able to view the photo. It’s not as seamless as posting images directly, but it’s currently the best workaround available.
Hopefully, TikTok will introduce a feature in future updates that allows users to post images directly in comments. Until then, using external links is the only method to share pictures in TikTok comments.
