Written Instructions - for 4K Capture
1. Turn on and plug in the headset to the PC, open SideQuest, and make sure the headset is being recognized
2. Look to the top right for a box with an arrow pointed right which when highlighted says Run ADB commands and click it and then click custom command option from drop down menu
3. In the white box we are going to copy and paste these commands and hit run command after each one (check for the written version in description to make sure its exact
adb shell setprop debug.oculus.capture.width 3840
adb shell setprop debug.oculus.capture.height 2160
adb shell setprop debug.oculus.capture.bitrate 90000000
4. Once the 3 custom commands have been input we then go back to the top right and click the wrench icon which brings up a whole bunch of options here are the ones we are going to change
- Refresh Rate = 60HZ
-Guardian = Off
-Full Rate Capture = ON
5. Once all settings have been input correctly you can grab your headset, press power button to get it out of sleep mode, press power button again to put it back into sleep mode, and then once more to bring it out of sleep mode.
Keep recordings under 5 mins to avoid possible video file corruption if they get too big they become unusable files not sure an exact time frame but 5 mins is the safe number.
