To remove the "Update and Shut Down" or "Update and Restart" options in Windows 10/11, you can temporarily disable pending updates. Open the "Run" dialog (Windows + R), type services.msc, and find "Windows Update" in the list. Right-click it, select "Stop," and set the startup type to "Disabled." This will prevent Windows from forcing updates. You can also adjust active hours in Settings to postpone updates. To permanently control updates, use Group Policy Editor or Registry Editor to disable automatic updates.
