Steps:
- On Google Drive you can see a list of all the files that have been shared with you by clicking ‘shared with me’ from the left side bar.
- Open up the file you want to be removed from.
- Click the ‘share’ button from the top right of the screen.
- To the right of where it shows your name, click the dropdown arrow icon and then select ‘remove’ .
- Make sure you click the save button to actually be removed from this file.
- From the list of files on google drive you can also remove yourself by right clicking the file and then selecting share.
- From here you can click the dropdown arrow next to your name again and then select remove, followed by hitting the save button to confirm it.
- You are now removed from that shared document on Google Drive
