3D MODEL has difference face. outside surface and inside surface.
Some 3D model software not showing it by default .

when come to 3D printing slicer inside surface is represent infill.
if any how during 3D modeling put inside surface out it will become a hollow 0 thickness model.

Lucky now some 3D slicer version already support auto repair.
incase the software not repair you can still use free software Meshmixer to repair it.
