How to Restart or Reset the Garmin Forerunner 230 / 235?

How to restart the Garmin Forerunner 230 /235:
1. Hold the power button for 5 second
2. When the menu appears simply select yes.
3. The Garmin Forerunner is now off
4. To turn on the Garmin Forerunner 230 /235, simply hold the power button for one minute.

How to clear user data on the Garmin Forerunner 230 / 235:
1. Turn the Garmin Forerunner off
2. With the Garmin Forerunner off hold down the power button for ten seconds until a menu appears asking if you would like to clear the user data.
3. The Garmin Forerunner 235 / 230 will now reset clearing the user data

How to Factory Reset the Garmin Forerunner 230 / 235:
1. Go to the settings on the Garmin Forerunner
2. From the settings select Restore Defaults
3. The Garmin Forerunner 235 / 230 will now begin a full restore to factory settings
