How to Run Custom Doom wads with the Toby Accessibility Mod V8.0

Hey guys, I'd like to give a thank you and shout-out to RealDareDevil for bringing this to my attention. His inquiry into how to run the Toby Accessibility Mod with a custom Doom wad inspired me to do this tutorial. Hopefully, many of you will find this helpful. If you have any questions or issue you need help with, I will do my best to walk you through it.

Step-by-step Tutorial:

Step 1: Open up the main Toby Accessibility Mod version 8.0 folder.

Step 2: Locate the sub-folder named "Addons"

Step 3: Go into "Addons" and locate the sub-folder "MAPS"

Step 4: Place the custom mod you'd like to play into the Maps sub-folder.

Step 5: Go back to the main Toby Accessibility Mod version 8.0 folder and locate the batch file named "Play Toby Doom.bat"

Step 6: Make a copy of the batch file and rename the copy to the name of the mod you'd like to play. Example: "Play Icarus.bat"

Step 7: Right click on the new batch file and select "Edit." This will open a Notepad window.

Step 8: Locate the last bit of text that reads: "./Addons/MAPS/TobyDoomLevels.wad"

Step 9: Change "TobyDoomLevels.wad" to the file name of the custom mod you want to play. Example: "./Addons/MAPS/ICARUS.wad"
NOTE: If the mod you want to play is a pk3 file, make sure you specify the file type like this: "./Addons/MAPS/TobyHexen.pk3"

Step 10: Save the batch file and close the notepad window.

Step 11: Double click on the batch file. The game select window will pop up prompting you to choose which game to play. If the custom mod is made for Doom 2, select Doom 2: Hell on Earth.

Step 12: After you select the game to run the custom mod with, click the "Play Game!" button or press Enter.
