OBS auto saves "recorded Files" as an FLV file, which most of us don't have the video player that opens FLV! So its a quick and simple fix to make OBS save files as MP4.

Settings - Broadcast settings - File Path (change FLV to MP4) - Filer Buffer (change FLV to MP4) - Apply, Okay,
