What is Tiny Scanner?
Tiny Scanner is a PDF/JPG document scanner app that turns your mobile into a portable scanner. Scans are saved to your device as an image or PDF file. Name and organize your scans into folders and view them using a PDF/Image viewer, or share them by Email or by Wifi directly to your computer.
With this PDF/JPG document scanner app you can scan documents, photos, receipts, reports, or just about anything. This pdf document scanner app is lightning fast and gorgeously designed for both phone and tablet.
With this app you won't need to have a physical scanner anymore in your home!
How to Scan a document with Tiny Scanner?
1. Open up the Google Play Store or App Store and search for "tiny scanner"
2. Download and Install the Tiny Scanner App and Open it. It is called "Tiny 3. Scanner - PDF Scanner App" on Android and "Scanner App: Scan PDF Document" on iOS
4. To Scan a document, tap on the camera icon at the bottom of the user interface (UI)
5. Your phones camera app will then load. Put the document you want to scan on a flat surface. Focus the document using the app and once lined up to your liking snap a picture to scan.
You have two modes to scan your document(s):
Batch Mode:
Batch mode scanning allows you to scan multiple pages of a document without having to fidget with other parameters in the app. This mode will automatically adjust filters.
Single Mode:
Single mode scanning allows you to scan a single page of a document. This mode will prompt you to adjust the filters and to crop your document.
6. Once you have scanned in your document(s) using your desired mode you will need to name your document. By default that is done for you by the app, however rename at will.
7. Share your document by using "Open in" or "Email" buttons. By selecting "Open in" you will be able to view your scanned document with an app of your choice. I personally used Adobe Acrobat Reader in this video. By selecting "Email" the scanned document will be attached as a file in a newly composed email.
