45To select the secret characters in Marvel vs. Capcom 1, you have to press a long sequence of buttons in character selection screen, these codes work in the Arcade and Dreamcast versions.
In the Playstation version, you have to finish the game with specific characters to unlock the secret ones.

This is another game from the partnership between Marvel and Capcom for fighting games that bring together their characters.
