In Odoo 19, the Deadline (i.e., the latest date you can start production to meet your delivery date) on Manufacturing Orders (MOs) has become editable, addressing a common limitation in previous versions.

✅ What’s Changed:
1. Editable Deadline on MOs
You can now manually adjust the deadline directly on a Manufacturing Order record—even after it’s confirmed. This helps when upstream schedules shift (like sales or procurement), and you need to tweak the MO start window without recreating orders.

2. Improved Scheduling Logic
Odoo 19 enhances how deadlines are computed and managed, combining:

Manufacturing lead time

Manufacturing security buffer

And any other upstream dependencies.
