Setting an alarm on your Amazon Alexa device is a great way to stay on time. Thankfully, if the initial full volume alarm is a bit too much of a jolt to your system, Amazon does give you the option to set your Alexa alarms on specific speakers to gradually increase in volume.
Now let's walk through the steps to set your Amazon Alexa alarm volume to gradually increase.
Step 1. Launch the Amazon Alexa app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. You'll land on your Alexa home screen.
Step 2. Tap the "More" icon in the menu along the bottom of the screen. A menu is displayed.
Step 3. Tap "Alarms and Timers" on this screen. This menu is shown.
Step 4. Tap "Settings" at the bottom of this menu. You'll see a list of your Amazon Alexa devices.
Step 5. Tap the device you want to set the Alexa alarm volume to gradually increase on. The Alarm Settings screen for that specific device is shown.
Step 6. Tap to turn on the toggle associated with "Ascending Alarm." Going forward, any alarms played through this Alexa device will play with a gradually increasing alarm.
