How to Set Custom Text Messages Notification Sound on a Galaxy S25 Ultra

🔹 Step 1: Transfer the Sound File to Your Device
1️⃣ Ensure the sound file is in a supported format (MP3, WAV, OGG, etc.).
2️⃣ Download or transfer the file to your Galaxy S25 Ultra.
3️⃣ If it was downloaded, it will be in the Downloads folder.
🔹 Step 2: Move the File to the Notifications Folder
1️⃣ Tap the Home button, then swipe up to open the App Drawer.
2️⃣ Open the Samsung folder and select My Files.
3️⃣ Navigate to Downloads (or the folder where your file is stored).
4️⃣ Touch and hold the file to select it, then tap Copy.
5️⃣ Scroll down and open the Notifications folder.
6️⃣ Tap Copy here to move the file into this folder.
📌 Tip: Any file placed in the Notifications folder will now be available as a notification sound!
🔹 Step 3: Set the Custom Notification Sound
1️⃣ Go back to the Home screen and open the Messages app.
2️⃣ Tap your Profile Icon in the search bar.
3️⃣ Select Message Settings from the pop-up menu.
4️⃣ Tap Notifications - Notification Categories - Incoming Messages.
5️⃣ Tap Sound and scroll down to the Custom section.
6️⃣ Select the sound file you just added.
✅ That’s it! Your Galaxy S25 Ultra will now use your custom sound for text messages.
