In this video, learn how to set specific text tones for a contact on Android.

To do this, open up your messaging app on your phone. then tap into a contact that you want to change the text tone for. Tap on the three dots, in the top right corner.

And then tap on details. Next tap on notifications, scroll down to the sound option and select a specific text tone from the list provided. Tap on the save button in the top right corner when done and just continue to use this same process, if you're wanting to change the text tone from other contacts on your phone.
