How to set up a Factorio Multiplayer Server. In this video we will learn How to Host a Factorio Multiplayer Server.
1. Get your local IP Address (IPv4) and your Router IP Address
- Windows button + R
- Type in CMD
- In the Command Line type in ipconfig
- Copy the IPv4 Address and the Default Gateway.
2. Port Forwarding.
- In a web browser navigate to your router via its IP Address. (10.0.0.138 most likley)
- login
- Find the Port Forwarding setting (Can be under NAT, Port Triggering, Virtual Servers, etc)
- Add the Port 34197 and Open the Port on All interfaces and Protocols. Make sure it is sending traffic to Your Computer (Your IPv4 Address)
- Save the Settings
3. Discover Your IP Address
- Search Google for: "Whats My IP"
- Add: ":34197" behind it.
- Send it to your friends.
4. Make sure your FireWall is Not Blocking Factiorio.
5. Host the Game
6. Get your Friends to Play with you!
7. And hurray! You are now playing Factorio with your best friends in Multiplayer!
