Steps:

- Open up whatsapp and tap ‘settings’ in the bottom right corner.

- In settings tap ‘avatar’.

- Then tap ‘create your avatar’.

- Click ‘get started’.

- You can then personalize your avatar, by choosing a skin color, hair color and style, outfit, and many more things.

- Once you are happy with your avatar tap ‘done’ in the top right.

- Choose ‘save changes’, then tap ‘next’.

- You can now tap ‘browse stickers’ to look through your avatars personalized stickers.

- You can tap ‘create profile photo’ to create a whatsapp profile photo with your avatar.

- Here you can choose an image and change the background colour.

- Tap ‘done’ when you are happy with your image.
