Eye tracking software is the kind of content that can be easily seen as unique on any platform.
And on this note, we created a demo video for using Eyeware Beam’s gaze bubble with Streamlabs OBS streaming/recording software. This video guide is centered around Streamlabs OBS, but it is applicable to any other tool that offers similar functionality.
Simply download Eyeware Beam onto your FaceID enabled iPhone or iPad (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209183), watch the demo video above & you’ll instantly have a state-of-the-art eye tracker to make some great content.
You can essentially immerse yourself in the simulator or FPS games and experience 6 DoF head tracking, no need for headsets. The Eyeware Beam uses the selfie camera of your Face ID enabled iPhone/iPad to track your head position (integration with Open Track).
Your eye gaze is exposed as a gaze bubble on the screen enabling you to share your point of attention with your audience. This is an easy enough setup solution for all gamers and streamers.
I'll get just a little technical for a moment: eye tracking is a technological process that enables the measurement of eye movements, eye positions, and points of gaze. In other words, the eye tracking software identifies and monitors a person’s visual attention in terms of location, objects, and duration.
Our tech works with both an iPhone or an iPad with a TrueDepth camera and it uses proprietary 3D eye tracking software and head tracking technology (i.e. it does not depend on the ARKit).
The app takes advantage of Apple’s TrueDepth technology, using the user-facing camera to enable remote (no need for wearables) and accurate eye tracking and head tracking functionalities. A PC software counterpart needs to be installed and once paired with the phone, a user is ready to stream their gaze or play simulator games that support head tracking.
We think that Eyeware Beam is the easiest and most affordable eye tracker software that enables your gaze bubble to be visible on a screen so you can pair it with Crossclip for streaming.
We hope you enjoy the video!
