It's not easy to get the OBS Studio audio right and the reality is that you cannot simply just copy and paste settings from a guide, believing that you automatically will achieve an awesome audio output. This is because your own audio configuration is very dependent on your own streaming set up; both in regards to what you are going to stream (music, games, etc) and what microphone you have and what settings you have there, etc. In this blog post I will however explain 3 basic rules you should follow, but more importantly also understand why, when setting up your OBS audio for streaming. I will also go through some examples on how to configure some audio sources according to these rules.
