How to Setting a Mouse Click Sound in Windows 10/11
Do you miss the satisfying click of your mouse? Windows 10 and 11 don't enable mouse click sounds by default, but you can easily bring them back with a few clicks. In this guide, we'll walk you through enabling and customizing your mouse click sound on your Windows machine.
💥Steps
💥Open the Sound Settings:
Press the Windows key and search for "Control Panel".
Once Control Panel opens, search for "Sound" and click on the "Sound" applet.
💥Navigate to the Sounds Tab:
In the Sound window, click on the "Sounds" tab if it's not already selected.
💥Choose a Sound Event:
Under the "Program Events" section, you'll see a list of events with corresponding sounds. While there's no specific event for mouse clicks, you can choose an event that triggers frequently, like "Start Navigation" (plays a sound when opening folders). This will essentially act as your mouse click sound.
💥Select a Sound:
Click on the dropdown menu next to "Sounds" for your chosen event.
Browse the sound options and choose the one you want for your mouse clicks. You can even click the "Test" button to preview the sound before applying it.
Save and Apply:
Once you've chosen your sound, click "Apply" to save the changes.
💨 That's it! Now, every time you click your mouse, you'll hear your chosen sound. You can experiment with different sounds to find one that you enjoy. If you ever decide to disable the mouse click sound again, simply follow the same steps and choose the option "(No Sound)" from the sound dropdown menu.
