You Need:
OrangePi 5 (NVME Drive Installed)
Putty
Winscp
Balena Etcher
Windows Powershell (Optional)
Ubuntu Server & Desktop Images (From Orange Pi Website)
Flash Drive (Optional)
2nd computer to SSH into Orange Pi

I have an OrangePi 5 with 16 gigabytes of Ram and a 250-gigabyte nvme drive to plug into the bottom of the orange pi.

STEP 1:

Flash Ubuntu Desktop to micro-sd card. (Using Balena Etcher)

STEP 2:

sudo fdisk -l

sudo gdisk /dev/Disk Name
(Delete all partitions on NVME Drive and 16Mb SPI Flash)

press (p) to show partitions
press (d) to delete a partition
press (w) to write changes to disk

STEP 3:

Copy over Ubuntu Server Image to /home/orangepi/Downloads
(Using Flash Drive or Windows Powershell)

scp .\orangepiubuntuserver.img root@IP Address of Orange Pi:/home/orangepi/Downloads

STEP 4:

orangepi-config

system - Install - Option 7 (Install/Update Bootloader SPI Flash)

STEP 5:

cd /home/orangepi/Downloads

ls -lah

sudo dd bs=1M if=orangepiubuntuserver.img of=/dev/nvme0n1 status=progress

STEP 6:

shutdown -h now

STEP 7:

Unplug the MicroSD card from OrangePi. Then turn it back on.

STEP 8:

ip addr (To find new ipv4 address for new ubuntu server install)

STEP 9:

sudo passwd root
(To change the default root password to something more secure)

STEP 10: (Pufferpanel Install)

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

curl -s https://packagecloud.io/install/repositories/pufferpanel/pufferpanel/script.deb.sh | sudo bash

sudo apt-get install pufferpanel

sudo systemctl enable pufferpanel

sudo pufferpanel user add

sudo systemctl enable --now pufferpanel

STEP 11:

Login to Pufferpanel IP-of-orange Pi:8080 Example: 10.0.0.77:8080

STEP 12:

Create New Template (Minecraft Paper)

STEP 13:

Create New Minecraft Server (And start it up)

STEP 14:

Connect to the Minecraft server.
