How to Share your Steam Games with Family Members (Settings Tutorial)
2To share your Steam games with family members, follow these steps:
Enable Family Library Sharing:
Ensure you have Steam Guard security enabled via Steam - Settings- Account in the Steam Client.
Go to Settings- Family (or in Big Picture mode, Settings -Family Library Sharing).
Authorize specific computers and users for sharing.
Authorize Computers:
Log in to your family member’s or friend’s Steam account on the PC that has the games you want to share.
Log out and log in to your main account with the games.
In Steam, go to Settings - Family and check the box next to the eligible account.
Access Shared Games:
Log in to the other account and view the shared games in the library.
Note that you cannot play the same game simultaneously as the owner.
