Steps to Sign Out of Slack On All Devices: 0:45
Video Transcript:
Slack is a communication tool that makes it easy to create a workspace for specific users, and then communicate and share information with that group. If you're a heavy Slack user, it won't take long before your list of workspaces gets lengthy and difficult to navigate. Whether you're just looking to clean up your list of workspaces, or you've got workspaces you're no longer involved with, one option is to sign out of individual Slack workspaces across all of your devices, which removes those Slack workspaces from all of the places where you access Slack. The only caveat is that you can only sign out of a Slack workspace on all devices through the Slack website.
Now let's walk through the steps to sign out of a Slack workspace on all devices.
Step 1. Open a web browser, navigate to Slack.com, and then sign in to the Slack workspace you want to sign out of on all devices.
Step 2. Click the drop-down arrow next to your Slack workspace name at the top of the menu. Another menu is displayed.
Step 3. Click "View Profile" in the menu. Your Slack profile appears on the right side of the screen.
Step 4. Click the vertical ellipses below your profile picture, and then click "Account Settings." The Account screen is displayed.
Step 5. Ensure the "Settings" tab is selected, and then click "Sign Out All Other Sessions" in the list of options. The Sign Out All Other Sessions screen is displayed.
Step 6. Enter the password associated with your Slack account in the Password field, and then click "Sign Out All Other Sessions." A message appears notifying you that you've successfully been signed out of all other sessions associated with that Slack workspace.
