Here is how to solve the Brain Puzzle in the Mind Flayer colony in Act 2 of Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3) This was a tricky puzzle at first, but I figured it out and had to sever it and then got it here. So I want to share my solution to this puzzle, which was pretty quick, but gets the point across.

The Rewards: Circlet of Mental Anguish: comes with Psychic Leech: When an enemy fails a Charisma, Intelligence or Wisdom Saving Throw against one of your spells or cantrips, you regain 1-4 hitpoints.

Braindrain Gloves: comes with Mental Interference: When you deal Psychic damage, you also inflict Mental Fatigue* for 2 turns.

Blade of Oppressed Souls and a brain that will give you a buff if interacted with the skin slacked head!
