In Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water’s Edge, when you solve the garden stone puzzle, a hidden panel will slide open, offering you a piece of paper. Kasumi wrote this letter, but it has origami markings on it. Making sure the clock is set to the late hours (after 1am), head to the Cultural room (room 18 on the first level) and use the key to room 18 to open the door.

At the storage box, open the second (middle) drawer to get out the origami book. The steps on the paper are numbered as Roman Numerals. Refer to the book to understand the origami markings, and select the correct step from the three options on your screen. If you mess up, Nancy will start you over at the beginning.

Here is the solution:
I. Mountain Fold
II. Fold to Front
III. Fold to Front
IV. Fold Unfold
V. Fold to Back
VI. Push/Invert

The finished fold shows a picture of bamboo. Search the garden for it, which is part of the deer scare near the foot bridge. You need a screwdriver to pry the lid loose, so head into the shed. You will find a screwdriver on the right next to the audio player.
