Rubik's Cube Instructions (in description)

Terminology

F=Front
D=Down
U=Up
L=Left
R=Right

F'=Front Inverted
D'= Down Inverted
U'=Up Inverted
L'=Left Inverted
R'=Right Inverted


-------------------- First Layer ----------------------

1. Getting the "White Cross"

Match middle cubies with top cross. (Find one that is mismatched, do algorithm then move onto next one - may need to solve manually using logic afterwards)



2. White Corners

R' D' R D

Placing the corners of the cross (Find the cubie that needs to be in the corner and position it until it's at the bottom then do until a corner is correct, then switch to another corner)

(turn cube upside down)

3. Second Layer Cubies

--- Right edge piece placement ---
(putting the left block to the right edge)

4. The Yellow Cross
(Keep doing this algorithm until it appears)

5. Yellow Edges
(start with misaligned pieces in-front of you - may need to do it twice)

6. Yellow Corners

- Put cubie that is correctly aligned in-front right corner to start
- Do until all cubies are in place
- If none are correct, do until they are (then start algorithm with cubie at right corner)


7. Orient Yellow Corners

- Repeat until cubie is correct, then without rotating the cube, turn top layer until another incorrect cubie is in front of you
- Repeat algorithm till cubie is correct, then turn top layer till another incorrect cubie is in front, repeat algorithm...do until finished)
