How to Start a Voice Chat Party on PS4 that's Closed or Opened
2To start a voice chat party on your PlayStation 4 (PS4) console, you have the option to create either a closed or open party. Here's how you can do it:
Turn on your PS4 console and sign in to your PlayStation Network (PSN) account.
Connect your headset or microphone to the controller.
From the main menu, navigate to the "Party" tab, which is located on the top menu bar.
Select "Start a Party" and choose the type of party you want to create: "Create Party" for a closed party or "Create Community" for an open party.
Closed Party: If you want to create a closed party:
a. Select "Create Party."
b. Choose a name for your party.
c. Select "Invite Players" and choose the friends you want to invite to the party from your friends list.
d. Once you've selected the players, choose "Send" to invite them to the party.
The closed party allows only invited players to join.
Open Party: If you want to create an open party:
a. Select "Create Community."
b. Choose a name for your community and customize the settings as desired.
c. Select "Create" to create the community and open the voice chat party.
d. You can then invite players to your community and they will have the option to join the voice chat party.
The open party allows anyone in the community to join the voice chat party.
Once the party is created, you can manage the party settings, invite or remove players, and adjust audio settings by selecting the party from the "Party" tab.
