In this video I go over how to defend the new offensive meta in Madden NFL 20, near close flex out of the West Coast alternate playbook. This formation is starting to become super popular in online MUT H2H because of the youtuber/streamer Throne. He recently started running this formation because of how effective the corner routes are.

Corner routes can be really difficult to stop because your clouds will often crash down leaving the receiver wide open. I show you guys a technique called the human spy to make sure your opponent is forced to throw from inside the pocket.

Heavily blitzing this formation with nano blitzes is not very effective because it's actually really easy to chop block a contain and roll out for huge gains. I prefer to play basic coverage and make my opponent make reads from inside the pocket.
