2In this guide, we'll walk you through how to unlock the Regenerate trophy/achievement in Cult of the Lamb, which revolves around completing a series of tasks for Sozo. Follow these steps closely to avoid any mistakes along the way!
First, you'll need to complete Sozo's initial quests:
1️⃣ Meet Sozo for the first time in the second dungeon
2️⃣ Collect 10 mushrooms from Spore Grotto and bring them to Sozo.
3️⃣ Gather 20 more mushrooms for the Brainwashing Ritual and perform the ritual.
4️⃣ Build the Mushroom Statue in your cult
After some time has passed, return to Spore Grotto, where you'll find Sozo's corpse. Here's where the achievement steps begin:
● Interact with Sozo's body to collect the mysterious seed.
● Plant the seed in an empty spot in your cult's garden and water it.
● After a while, harvest the mushroom that grows, and Sozo will return as a follower. He won’t perform any tasks but will roam your cult.
● Sozo will then request 5 mushrooms. Give them to him to continue.
● He'll then send you on a mission to find a mushroom follower in the second dungeon. Decline the mission, which will make Sozo a Dissenter.
●Throw him in prison and re-educate him. Afterward, he will revert to his true form, Dr. Sozonious, and after some dialogue, the achievement will pop
If you accidentally accept the mission and mess up like I did, don't worry! Complete the mission anyway, and after some time, Sozo will kill the mushroom follower. He'll eventually ask for another mushroom follower. Reject this mission, throw him in prison, and re-educate him to unlock the achievement after Dr. Sozonious' dialogue concludes.
