I will show you how to stop twitter videos from automatically playing.

Twitter for Android is automatically setup to autoplay your videos whether you are on mobile data or wi-fi. Some people don’t mind this option but for other people it can become very annoying for various reasons.

The good thing is that you do have the option to disable this feature. There are a few options that you have whenever you get into this setting. You can select whether you just want the videos to autoplay on wifi or you can switch it off completely.  
The three main reasons that spring to mind for why people don’t like having this on are as follows:

Number 1: It uses a lot of unnecessary data which no-one really wants.

Number 2 : It can be very off putting when scrolling through your twitter feed to have constant flashing videos and images show up.

Number 3: Its going to be using up an unnecessary amount of data.
