To switch TV inputs with your Xbox Series X controller, you can follow these steps:

Ensure that your Xbox has installed the latest update.
Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Navigate to “Profile & system,” then “Settings,” “General,” “Sleep mode & startup,” and then finally, “TV & A/V power options.”
Check the “HDMI-CEC” box to enable CEC.
Once enabled, you’ll be able to switch your input to the Xbox by simply pressing the Xbox button on your controller.

This feature is only available on Xbox Series X and S, not the last-gen Xbox One, as the newer systems sport HDMI-CEC, which is required for this functionality. You can also enable the HDMI-CEC setting “Switch TV input when using controller” to make the switch even easier
